The site includes all the amenities of the standard campsites. The group site is for tents only and can accommodate between 9 and 50 people along with 10 vehicles. On the other side of the ridge, many homes as well as forest were devastated by the fire. Bliss State Park is located between the Ridge camping loops and the Beach sites. The south shore of Lake Tahoe is less than a mile away. The camp itself was not harmed, and in fact from the camp, evidence of the fire is barely detectable. Fallen Leaf Campground is situated on the north shore of Fallen Leaf Lake and adjacent to Taylor Creek. You can cancel or change reservations through or by calling 1-87. The 10.00 service fee will be deducted from the refund amount. The 2007 Angora Fire destroyed a large area of the nearby wilderness on the other side of Angora ridge. Activities include hiking, kayaking on Fallen Leaf Lake, arts and crafts, tennis, volleyball, basketball, swimming, dancing, singing, and dining in the lodges overlooking the lake. The camp consists of a 20-acre (81,000 m 2) lakefront mountain property at 6,300' above sea level and is owned and operated by the Stanford University Alumni Association.
